Forest School Association South West Spring Gathering  - 10th-12th May

We're delighted to be hosting the FSASW Spring Gathering this year. We're hoping to be able to enjoy the beautiful spring flowers over this weekend get together for Forest School practitioners from across the South West.

Places are limited and priority is given to people who are already qualified and practicing Forest School Leaders, and members of Forest School Association (who qualify for a discount). Please contact us before booking if you are not sure if you are eligible, we may put you on a waiting list.

Extinction Rebellion North Devon Gathering in the Woods - 23rd June

Join us for our third gathering in the woods for some food, drink, a fire, music and song. A chance to be hands on, join in, play and have fun in the woods and mingle and get to know other XRND members.

Food will be a Pot Luck Stew & Pud. Please bring some vegetables to add to the pot, something sweet and delicious for pudding, and something to drink. Herbal teas will be available. We ask that everyone bring their own bowls, cups and cutlery, and take their washing up home with them.

An opportunity for both adults and children to play in the woods, chat around the fire, and socialise. Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their children at all times. Rules of the wood apply.

Dress Code: Fancy dress, come as you fancy!
Suggested donations will go to Hakeford Woods.

This event is being held by XRND Regen and Culture group, if you would like to come, please message through the facebook event page with how many of you there will be and ages of the children by 19th June.

Please car share where possible.

North Devon Spoon Carvers Gathering - Next Date TBC

A get together for experienced whittlers and spoon carvers who fancy spending a few hours carving spoons and sharing skills around the campfire.
A variety of wood will be available to use on the day, please bring your own spoon carving tools,
We will not be providing instruction in this session.
There will be a veggie soup cooked on the fire for lunch, tea and coffee, but please feel free to bring cakes and biscuits to share.
Suggested donation of £3 to cover costs of food, drink and resources.
